The beginning
I am sick of TV! We frequently have it on from morning until night. I "need" to have it on as I go to sleep. When I turn the TV off and have silence my head feels like its buzzing. Is that because I'm so used to having the TV on during most everything I do? I always say that I'm envious of people who can get by on less sleep b/c I wold be able to get so much more done with the extra two hours. Got me thinking about how much time we spend watching TV. Probably at least two hours. I am a huge advocate for children's health-- what they eat, being active, etc. What kind of example am I setting for my child? I am not consistently demonstrating the lifestyle that I want him to adopt. So, I've decide to reclaim my time and my brain. No TV! I want to see how long I can keep this up and what changes occur in my life as a result. Care to join me?
